A $39 AI tool,
or a studio?
AI video tools turn a prompt into a video in minutes, for $39 to $199 a month. We use AI too. The difference is everything that happens around the prompt, and who does it every week.
| AI video tool | Offcamera | |
|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | You: topic, prompt, script fixes, footage choices, thumbnails, upload | Our team, start to finish. You approve the script if you want to. |
| Your time per video | Usually 1–3 hours once you include fixing and packaging | A few minutes to review |
| Research and facts | Whatever the model writes; checking it is on you | Researched from cited sources and fact-checked by an editor |
| Monetization risk | One-prompt videos often look alike, and YouTube doesn’t monetize mass-produced, repetitive content | Your own format, voice and edit style, made to read as original work |
| Thumbnails and titles | You make them, or use a template | Two designed thumbnails to test against each other, plus title, chapters and description |
| Posting | You upload | Scheduled to YouTube for you, plus vertical cuts for Shorts, TikTok and Reels |
| Strategy | None built in | A Channel Blueprint, then a monthly report on what’s working and what we’ll change |
| Cost | $39–$199 a month plus your time | From $420 a month, no setup fee, cancel any time |

- Shorts are the main goal and polish matters less
Pick Offcamera if…
- Your time is worth moreThan the hours a channel takes each week.
- You want a channel that can be monetizedOriginal format, sourced scripts, a voice only you have.
- You want someone accountableFixed delivery dates, and a late video is free.
- You’d rather judge one real video firstThat’s what the pilot is for.
Fair questions
Do you use AI?
Yes, where it saves time without lowering quality: transcribing sources, first drafts of research notes, narration from a voice designed for your channel. People do the parts that decide whether a video gets watched: the angle, the script edit, the cut and the thumbnail.
Can’t I just use an AI tool and hire an editor to polish it?
You can. You’d still be the producer: choosing topics, briefing, checking facts and chasing delivery. If you want to be the producer, that works. If you want the channel without the job, that’s what we do.
Is AI-made content allowed on YouTube?
Yes, with conditions. YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic altered or synthetic media and doesn’t monetize mass-produced or repetitive content. That’s why every channel we make has its own format and a person edits every script.
